With over 300,000 lifetime members since 1855, Sigma Chi has earned recognition as one of the largest and oldest fraternities in North America. Dedicated to supporting others, Sigma Chi values Friendship, Justice, and Learning. As philanthropic partners to the Children’s Miracle Network and The Huntsman Cancer Institute, chapters have raised millions of dollars to support charitable organizations. Members also hold a series of fundraising events through Derby Days and host the Merlin Olsen Day of Service (honoring alumni and NFL Hall of Famer Merlin Olsen) to volunteer in their communities. With extensive opportunities for leadership and community service, brothers are firm believers in the power of giving back.
