Known as "the oldest and largest professional business fraternity," Alpha Kappa Psi has members worldwide in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and Hong Kong. The co-ed organization was founded in 1904 and has a vision to be recognized as the “premier developer of principled business leaders,” based on the purpose of its original founders. Over a century later, AKPsi has surpassed this vision with alumni who have taken on major roles in fields such as politics and business. Notable members include former U.S. Presidents Ronald Reagan and Richard Nixon and business leaders Joyce C. Hall (Founder, Hallmark Cards) and Harrison Jones (Chairman, The Coca-Cola).
The co-ed fraternity provides its members with extensive personal and professional development opportunities. Since 1951, the Alpha Kappa Psi Foundation has supported the fraternity's public, charity, and education initiatives. The Foundation offers resources such as grants, scholarships, and educational programs to undergraduate and graduate students, helping to shape future business leaders. Members participate in annual events such as the Case Competition and the Academy, a hands-on leadership experience. Today over 240,000 members strive to enhance their fraternity and communities by following core values of Brotherhood, Knowledge, Integrity, Service and Unity.
