Lambda Sigma Gamma

Lambda Sigma Gamma is proud to be the “first and largest multicultural sorority on the West Coast.” In 1986, 27 women gathered to form the sisterhood at California State University. Since then, 26 chapters have been established across the United States. The sisterhood cultivates lifelong friendships among college and alumnae members through social and service events as well as networking opportunities. As a member of the National Multicultural Greek Council, the Lambda Sigma Gamma sorority upholds diversity and unity as strong values in the organization.

In alignment with their mission, Lambda Sigma Gamma women live by “self-improvement,” “scholastic excellence,” and “civic responsibility.” A service-based sorority, Lambda Sigma Gamma commits to initiatives that promote the advancement of education among women. Members are dedicated to supporting education by giving back to local schools by hosting events like back-to-school drives. They also support causes that raise awareness for breast cancer and domestic violence. Through unique experiences on campus and beyond, sisters use their time to strive toward achieving “Unity Through Sisterhood.”
