Established in 1916, Kappa Phi is a national Christian sorority that integrates faith and Greek life. The interdenominational sisterhood was founded at the University of Kansas to foster a supportive community of like-minded women on college campuses. Over 50 collegiate and alumnae chapters commit themselves to each other and their communities. The pink rose reflects love, one of the sorority’s symbols, which unites each Kappa Phi member in their service to the world.
Kappa Phi stands by “Service, Worship, Fellowship, and Study.” As part of their purpose, sisters are dedicated to “positive action.” The organization hosts annual missions trips, where members are able to build relationships through building orphanages, women’s shelters, and schools in countries around the world. Additionally, sisters across the nation meet through events like the National Council of Chapters. Kappa Phi women follow the motto, “I’d love to,” seeking opportunities to connect with people and the enhance lives of others.
