Kappa Alpha Theta

Kappa Alpha Theta was founded at DePauw University in 1870, becoming the first Greek fraternity for women. Totaling over 270,000 initiated members in the U.S. and Canada, the sisterhood includes alumni such as fashion designer Tory Burch, former First Lady of the U.S. Laura Bush and her daughters Barbara and Jenna Bush, journalist and political commentator Amy Holmes, and Grammy Award-winning singer and actress Sheryl Crow. Thetas are a supportive community of women who strive to inspire each other to become the “finest versions” of themselves.

Theta girls are known to stand out from a crowd and offer a helping hand. Since 1960, the Kappa Alpha Theta Foundation has supported the sorority’s philanthropy efforts. In addition to providing scholarships for undergraduate and graduate members, the Foundation aids the sorority’s philanthropy partner, Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA). With a passion for change, Kappa Alpha Theta sisters are dedicated to making a difference, whether small or large, in communities that surround them.

The Collegiate Standard offers a beautiful collection of merchandise for Kappa Alpha Theta members! Our exclusive line features Kappa Alpha Theta rings, pendants, necklaces, and lavalieres that make the perfect sorority gifts. Keep the sisterhood strong with a stylish piece of Kappa Alpha Theta jewelry!
