Phi Sigma Rho

Phi Sigma Rho is on a mission to “build the future.” The social sorority was founded in 1984 for women studying engineering and engineering technology. Since then, the organization has provided professional and personal development for members at 39 chapters and three colonies in the U.S. Through experiences on- and off-campus that broaden sorority living, sisters foster memories and strong bonds for life.

As part of their sorority objectives, PSR sisters are deeply involved in their campus communities. Since 2010, leukemia and lymphoma education has remained a major philanthropic focus for the Phi Sigma Rho Foundation, the charitable arm of the sorority. The Foundation created the Light the Night program to partner with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s Light the Night Walk campaign. Throughout the year, collegiate and alumnae chapters organize walks or other events to fund research and gives access to treatments for patients. Through this initiative, the sorority helps to find cures and save lives.
