Alpha Zeta Omega
Alpha Zeta Omega is a co-ed pharmaceutical fraternity with 42 chapters across the United States. Originally founded in 1919 for academic support, the fraternity’s purpose now focuses on building authentic community by spreading “the spirit of Fraternalism, Brotherly Love, Friendship and Good Will towards Mankind.” AZO is open to pharmacists and undergraduate students and strives to promote the Pharmacy profession, set high standards for scholarship, and recognize achievement among its members.
While Alpha Zeta Omega members bond over their academic and professional interests, the fraternity also promotes community service involvement. The organization has a commitment to philanthropy, annually choosing a new National Fraternity Charity of the Year for chapters to support. Recent charity organizations include the Lustgarten Foundation to cure pancreatic cancer, the American Cancer Society, Ronald McDonald House, National Breast Cancer Foundation, The Association of Developmental Disabilities, and The March of Dimes. Members have a strong brotherhood within Alpha Zeta Omega and a passion to keep giving outside their community.
