    We'll be starting a fun series of Recruitment posts to help you through this Rush/Recruitment Season! 

    R E C R U I T M E N T    E S S E N T I A L S

    • MINTS: You're going to be talking to girls all day. Be sure to pop a mint and make your breath is minty fresh. First impression is everything! 
    • DEODORANT: Chances are, the weather will still be warm during recruitment. Be sure to keep up with the heat and plan accordingly. Personal hygiene counts! 
    • SUNNIES: The sun is not your friend! Be sure to protect your eyeballs with cute sunnies. You don't want to be squinting half the time! 
    • SUNSCREEN: Again, the sun is not your friend! Sunburn is no joke. Make sure to lather up and protect your skin or else you'll be peeling for a week! 
    • COMFY SHOES: You're going to be standing.. A LOT! Wear comfy shoes to save your soles!

    • PENS: DON'T forget to bring a pen! Chances are, you'll need to write down someone's information. Always have one on the go. Not having something as simple as a pen looks unprofessional.

    • WATER: Don't forget to hydrate! It's the most important thing to have.

    • Healthy Choices

      • ALWAYS keep yourself hydrated! Health gurus & doctors constantly tell us to drink at least 8 cups a day..with good reason! Drinking water will help your body flush out waste and bring fluid to your organs. 

      • Watching your figure? Try snacking on something that burns fat! These snacks will boost up your metabolism. The best choice are almonds. Not only are they super delicious. It'll make you feel less guilty about eating it! If you're not going nuts for this. Another alternative is Edamame or an apple with skim milk. 

      • Meditating is the best way to keep stress away. Focus on your body's energy and direct it to something positive. Your mind and body will thank you.

      • Relax. Try taking a nice bubble bath and relax in the tub. If you don't have a bath, experiment with your bed. Try out new sheets and light up some candles or buy some fragrant flowers. Aromatherapy is everything. It'll calm your body and mind. 

      • Get outdoors. Fresh air won't hurt you. You don't have to go on a full blown outdoor adventure but going outside and taking a walk does wonders. Get rid of your distractions and go somewhere quiet and refreshing. 

      • Sing your heart out. Belting out a song just does something to a person. Don't be afraid to sing! Don't be afraid to dance along! It's always fun to be a little silly sometimes. 

       

      • Be happy. Enjoy laughter. Live your life how YOU want to. Don't worry about disappointing others. A  woman once said "No one can make you feel inferior without your consent."- Eleanor Roosevelt.  Don't let others get to you.  As long as you're happy, nothing else matters. Those who love and support you will always understand and want nothing but the best for you.
