Kappa Sigma
The largest collegiate social fraternity in the world, Kappa Sigma has more than 200,000 lifetime members. K-Sig was founded in 1869 at the University of Virginia. Over 20,000 collegiate members bond over the opportunities for fellowship, leadership, scholarship, and service provided by the fraternity. With 320 chapters and colonies in the United States and Canada, Kappa Sigma is on a mission to make a difference on campus and around the world.
Kappa Sigs are known to be men of action. The organization offers several leadership initiatives that recognize excellence among its members and provide life-changing service opportunities. Established in 1919, the Kappa Sigma Endowment Fund supports the fraternity’s philanthropic efforts. Chapters organize various charity events and raise funds through A Greater Cause, a program that promotes community service and supports charitable organizations. In addition to supporting these causes, the Fund also provides student scholarships for achievements in academics, leadership, and campus involvement.
